問題なのは、好き勝手に報じても小室さん側が反論しないことを逆手に取っていること。ある時期から特に小室さんの母親への悪口に歯止めがかからなくなりました。特定の人物を攻撃する「スケープゴート」になったと思います。多くの人にとってメディアが流す情報が本当かどうかは実は重要ではなくなっている。むしろ、自分が信じる「真実」に当てはまればよいという現象さえ見受けられました。特に、ヤフーのコメント欄を見るとその傾向は顕著です。
